Land Minister Shamsur Rahman Sharif on Friday called for forging a unity of pro-liberation forces to combat militancy and terrorism.
“We all should remain alert against any conspiracy as anti-liberation forces are still active to hamper development process in the country,” he said this on Friday while inaugurating function of a pure drinking supply project in Ishwardi, an official release said.
Sharif said a vested quarter has been hatching conspiracies to impede the process of the current continuous development by patronizing militancy and terrorism in the country.
He urged all people of the pro-liberation forces to extend their cooperation to supplement the efforts of the government to root out militancy and terrorism.
