One foreman of a berth operator of Chittagong Port died of cardiatic arrest inside the vessel at port yesterday morning at about 9 am.
The foreman identified as Syed Ahmed. The incident occurred in general cargo vessel MV Henki anchored at No.7 inner berth of the port . Syed Ahmd was the foreman of M/s.A.W.
Khan Berth Operator company .
Port sources said he boards the vessel in the morning to undergo his work and instantly became senseless in the cabin room and immediately rushed to port hospital where the attending physicians declared him dead. Berth Operator sources said the victim came over in duty at about 8 am and went to vessel .
Soon after his board in vessel, he became sick and became senseless . Later he was rushed to Por t hospital immediately.
