Foreign investors urged to invest more in Bangladesh

Chief Whip of the Jatiya Sangsad ASM Feroz at a function in Geneva has called upon the foreign investors to invest more in Bangladesh as it has easy availability of manpower and all other industrialization facilities.
“Investing in Bangladesh is very safe and profitable. Bangladesh has easy availability of human resources and every kind of facilities for industrialization,” he told a reception ceremony marking the 48th Independence and National Day at Bangladesh Permanent Mission in Geneva on Monday, said a press release received on Tuesday.
Firoz is leading the Bangladesh delegation participating in the 138 assembly of Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU) in Geneva.
The chief whip said Bangladesh is a peace-loving democratic country and law and order situation is normal which makes the country a friendly state in the world.
Paying rich tributes to 1971 Liberation War martyrs and architect of Independent Bangladesh Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, Feroz said Bangladesh is celebrating its 48th Independence Day in a very glorious time when it has attained the eligibility for graduating to a developing nation from the status of Least Developed Countries (LDC).
It has been possible because of the dynamic leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, he observed.
Envoys of different countries in Switzerland and representatives to the UN Mission there and Bangladeshi expatriates as well attended the ceremony.
