Foreign fishermen catching fishes in BD water territory

Fishermen of other countries are romping in the water territory of Bangladesh and catching fish from there.
Fishermen of India, Sreelanka, Mayanmar and Thailand are looting silvery Hilsa and other sea fishes from the 4 stores of fish in the Bay of Bengal along with Sundarban forest from Munshiganj point of the Western Division of Sundarban to Teknaf and also in the deep sea every day.
Not only that but also they resist the Bangladeshi fishermen to catch fish from the Bay. All those information were confirmed by the fishermen and the leaders of fishermen who returned from the sea recently.
The fishermen and their leaders brought all those complaints to Adv. Mir Shawkat Ali Badsha, MP of Bagerhat Sadar Constituency and the President of the Parliamentary Standing Committee of the Ministry of Fisheries and Livestock when he visited Bagerhat KB Wholesale Fsh Market and fish landing centre on October 5.
The leaders of the fishermen also told him, we will be able to supply hilsa and other sea fish to our people at Tk.100.00 only per kg. if the illegal intrusion of the fishermen of India, Sreelanka, Mayanmar and Thailand and catching fish from there can be stopped. The MP and the president of the Parliamentary Permanent Committee assured them that steps would be taken very to solve all those problems.
Catching of hilsa from the water territory of the country was banned from October 5 to 15 and after the expiry of the ban fishermen returned to the sea. The compliant of the fishermen was proved when the members of Bangladesh Navy arrested 14 Indian fishermen along with a fishing trawler from the Bay of Bengal near the fair buoy on the charge of illegal intrusion in the water territory of Bangladesh and catching fish from there on October 15.
On October 17 , some 20 Sreelankan fishermen were arrested along with 4 fishing trawlers by a contingent of Bangladesh navy from coastal area of Chittagong on the same charges.
On October 18, members of Bangladesh navy arrested 14 Indian fishermen along with a fishing trawler from the fair buoy in the Bay of Bengal on the charge of illegal intrusion in the water territory of Bangladesh and catching fish from there
On October 20, the members of the navy arrested 14 more Indian fishermen along with a fishing trawler from the same place and on the same charges.
On October 22, some 13 Indian fishermen along with a fishing trawler were arrested by a contingent of Bangladesh navy from the fair buoy area of the Bay of Bengal on the charge of illegal intrusion in the water territory of Bangladesh nd catching fish from there.
The members of Bangladesh Navy arrested as many as 75 foreign fishermen along with 8 fishing trawlers during the last 8 days from October 15 to October 22 on the charge of illegal intrusion in the water territory and catching fish from ther.
