They must know about job details: Foreign bound female workers to be offloaded from plane

If foreign country bound female workers failed to learn details about their job, they will be offloaded from plane.
“We are going to introduce a new policy that the foreign country bound female workers must to be informed about their job particulars. If they failed to show the papers about their job conditions, facilities, salaries and other particulrars, they must be offloaded from plane,” Salim Reza, Secretary of the Ministry of the Expatriate Welfare and Overseas Employment said it in a programme on Saturday in the capital.
The secretary said it while addressing a programme organised by Nari Sramik Kendra in Bangladesh-Korea Technical Training center in the capital.
The secretary said that the policy will be circulated on Sunday,
He said, under the policy, the female workers would be examined about their job details from minimum three or four places to be confirmed. Finally they will face investigations in airports.
“If the recruiting agencies failed to render training to female workers before sending them abroad, we will bring those under legal punishment,” he said. He said, “We have cancelled more than 100 recruiting agencies’ licenses so far.”
Besides, he said, the better service providing recruiting agencies will be rewarded.
He said also that every areas of the Saudi Arabia are not same.
“The torturing incidents of female workers are occurring in some certain areas. We will impose restriction to send female workers to those ares,” the secretary said.
Anisul Islam Mahmud MP, the President of the Parliament’s Standing Committee on Expatriate Welfare and Overseas Employment Affairs, Shamsul Alam, Director General of Bureau of Manpower, Employment and Training (BMET), Nurul Islam, Director of BMET and Sumaiya Islam, Director of Nari Sramik Kendra, among others, were present.
