Noted athlete and social worker Foolnahar Selim’s 5th death anniversary will be observed today. She was the wife of renowned businessman and social worker of Khabir Ahmed Selim of Noakhali. Foolnahar was the youngest daughter of Abdul Mannan Miah, who was the former president of Choumohoni Businessman Association.
Marking the death anniversary of Foolnahar, her relatives and well-wishers will pray in front of her grave in Noakhali. Foolhahar’s relatives will take part in the special Doa-Mahfil at her Dhaka’s residence. Besides, after juma Prayer, her relatives will arrange a special Doa Mahfil at the Bangabhaban Staff Quarter Jame Mosque in Dhaka and Tofael Ahmed Jame Mosque at Maizdi in Noakhali today. Her family members have requested to all her relatives and well-wishers to attend those programmes.
Foolnahar Selim was the member of Noakhali Zila Samity, Bangladesh Mahila Samity, Begumganj Upazila Welfare Association and Choumohoni Government SA College Alumni Association and many other organizations. Foolnahar Selim was born in a noble Muslim family. She obtained Higher Degree from Choumohini Government SA College.
