As a little girl we all were amazed and mesmerized by Rapunzel’s long lustrous and healthy shinny locks, or we always admired and wanted thick mane like princess Jasmine.
But as time passes we realise that it’s a tad difficult to maintain those long locks.
And this situation is topped with stress, disturbed sleep, erratic eating schedules which further more makes us to take the short and crop hair way. However with a little care you can still get those lustrous that you always admired. With mediation, exercises, proper sleep, water intake and certain food, one can still manage to get those shiny locks.
1. Dark green vegetables: If you love Popeye the Sailor, then you must have noticed how he used to gulp down spinach. Well, we don’t ask you to gulp spinach like Popeye, but adding loads of green vegetables in your diet make the hair strong and also help to grow more hair. Dark green veggies are an excellent source of vitamins A and C, which your body needs to produce sebum. – the oily substance, secreted by your hair follicles which is the body’s natural hair conditioner.
2. Nuts: A handful of nuts like almonds, cashews, walnuts, dates will help you to get stronger and long hair. Brazil nuts are one of nature’s best sources of selenium, which is an important mineral for a healthy scalp.
