Foodpanda Bangladesh, the largest online platform for ordering food in Bangladesh, donated the Assistance for Blind Children-ABC, a non government organisation by the name “Share Hope” recently, says a press release.
During the handing over the donation, foodpanda marketing head Sakerina Khaled was present along with the Vice-President of ABC, Habibullah Khan and Committee Members, Zainul Abedin, Qazi Humayan Kabir and Sanjana Farid. foodpanda Bangladesh and ABC also discussed on initiate new campaigns to build stronger relationship in the future.
The campaign, “Share Hope” ran for 15 days, which started on 4th July2015, and was widely promoted via Social Media. The concept was quite simple. The campaign encouraged new and returning foodpanda customers to place orders via foodpanda website or app. For every order processed between 4th July and 18th July 2015, foodpanda donated a percentage of the amount of the order, to ABC. This initiative was taken by foodpanda Bangladesh to share hapiness with thousands of children who are not blessed enough the see the beauty of this world.
