Bangladesh U-18 team head coach Mahbubur Rahman Rocksy said they are focusing to win the SAFF Championship trophy.
He said that his side is quite motivated and they are trying to concentrate match by match in order to achieve good result, according to a message received here from Bangladesh Football Federation on Tuesday.
“Our next match is with Maldives … we are not getting carried away with the fact that we had a brilliant start by beating the South Asian Giant India. We are not taking things lightly as we have seen The Maldives in their match against Bhutan, they are also a good team, though might gone down by a solitary goal against host team.
“Right now we are concentrating on each upcoming match separately; we are now in a good position to win the championship fight. All our focus is on winning the trophy so we are ready to play three upcoming matches.
We want everyone to support us and send their blessings as they always do.”
Bangladesh U-18 team’s skipper Tutul Ahmed Badsha said: “We did a lot of silly mistakes in the first half against India. We will try not to repeat those in our next game, we are more focused and confident and serious now about the tournament. All we are concentrating to achieve the prestigious Championship title for our Bangladesh.”
Bangladesh U-18 team manager Amirul Islam Babu said “Great start by our Bangladesh team, it couldn’t be any better for us, now all of the coaching staff and players are doing hard work and giving their best for the next matches. Everyone is physically sound and ok and trying to achieve the Championship crown for Bangladesh Football. We are thankful to Almighty Allah & all of our fans who supported us all throughout our journey so far in this competition.”
