Foreign Local Cricket Club (FLCL) of Bangladesh became the champions in the 3rd Independence T20 Cup beating Tollywood XI by one run in the final at Aditya Sports Ground in Barasat, Kolkata recently. The cricket competition was held marking the Independence Day of Bangladesh.
FLCL of Bangladesh elected to bat first and piled up a fighting total of 75 for the loss of seven wickets in 10 overs.
Dilip of FLCL of Bangladesh notched up 37 runs, while Tumpu made 23 runs and Nahid scored 15 runs. Sushil of Tollywood XI was the most successful bowler of his team bagging 3 wickets for 25 runs.
Later, Tollywood XI made 74 runs for the loss of 9 wickets in 10 overs.
Ratnadeep of Tollywood top-scored with 37 runs, while Sushil notched up 25 runs and Ananda made12 runs.
Dilip of FLCL of Bangladesh shone with the cherry claiming four wickets at the cost of 25 runs.
Dilip of FLCL of Bangladesh was adjudged the Man of the Match for his all-round performance.
