Flame Girls Club and Viqarunnisa Sports Club won their respective matches of the Cute Women’s Handball League at the Shaheed (Captain) M Mansur Ali National Handball Stadium on Saturday.
In the day’s first match, Flame Girls Club defeated Jatrabari Krira Chakra by 20-12 goals. The winners dominated over the losers by 9-6 goals in the first half.
In the day’s second match, Viqarunnisa Sports Club thrashed Gafur Baluch Smrity Sangsad by 19-1 goals.
The winners led the first session by 6-0 goals. Mohammedan Sporting Club Limited emerged as the champions of the Group A while Usha Krira Chakra became the runners-up of the same group.
Dhaka Mariner Youngs Club emerged as the champions of the Group B while RN Sports Home became the runners-up of the Group B. The four teams will play in the Super Four.

Mohammedan Sporting Club Limited vs RN Sports Home (3.00 pm), Usha Krira Chakra vs Dhaka Mariner Youngs Club (4.30 pm).
