Staff Reporter:Former President of Crime Reporters Association Bangladesh (CRAB) and Special Correspondent of Daily Sun, Esarof Hossain Esa and daily Bangladesh Pratidin Staff Reporter Ali Azam, have been elected as President and General Secretary respectively of Faridpur Journalists’ Foundation Dhaka (FJFD).
The 22 members committee was formed for the year of 2022 and 2023 in a meeting of FJFD in a city hotel on Tuesday.
Shahnaj Begum of Daily Observer, Wahiduzzaman of BSS and Sirajul Islam of News Bangla 24.com, have been made Vice-Presidents of the committee.
The others of the committee are Join Secretary Sazzad Mahmud Khan (Amader Shomoy), Organising Secretary Imran Rahman (Bhorer Kagoj), Treasurer Arafat Jobayer (Dhaka Post), Office Secretary Kamrul Islam (News24), Publicity and Publication Secretary Rafiqul Islam Shohag (Banglanews24), Literary and cultural Secretary Onimesh Kar (Independent TV), Sports Secretary Masud Rana (Dainik Sangbad), Public Welfare Secretary Habib Rahman (Jamuna TV) and Information Technology Secretary Reza Mahmud (The New Nation).
The executive committee members are, Amaresh Roy, (Samakal), Rajib Khan, (Channel24), Asaduzzaman (Bhorer Kagoj), Abul Bashar Nuru (Sangbad Sarabela), Mojibur Rahman Jitu (BSS), Jakirul Islam (Ittefaq), M. Shahjahan (Janakantha) and Ikramul Haque Raju (Holy Times).
