At least five skeletons were reportedly stolen from a graveyard in Naimuri village of the district early Friday.
In this incident, a lot of excitement created among the people of the area.
Some elderly locals went to Naimuri-Raypara graveyard on Friday morning to offerfatehaat their relatives’ graves, said Akmal Badsha, Salanga union Awami League President.
They found that five graves dug and skeletons stolen from there, he added.
Being informed, police visited the spot, said Wahiduzzaman, officer-in-charge ofSalgangPolice Station.
“Necessary legal steps would be taken after investigation,” he added.
