A mobile court fined five shop owners around Taka 43,000 in the Sylhet for selling unauthorised and date expired products.
A team comprising Directorate of National Consumers Rights Protection (DNCRP) and Rapid Action Battalion (RAB-9) personnel led by ASP Afsan conducted drives in different areas and realised the money as fines from the owners of Kazi Asparagus Food and Island, Sald Bay, Mr. Blender, Flame of and Dilhi Darbar, said Assistant Director of DNCRP, Sylhet Amirul Islam Masud.
Police and other law enforcing agencies assisted the mobile court.
