The Detective Branch (DB) of Dhaka Metropolitan Police submitted the charge-sheet in blogger Washiqur Rahman Babu murder case in a Dhaka court against five persons on Tuesday noon.
The accused whose names are included in the charge sheet are Zikrullah alias Hasan, Ariful Islam, Saiful Islam, Abu Taher Junayed alias Taher and Hasib alias Abdullah. Of them, Taher and Abdullah had been on the run since the murder on March 30 of this year.

East Travels Limited was stabbed by a group of assailants, numbering about three, near South Begunbari Jame Mosque under Tejgaon Industrial Police Station on March 30.
Police rescued injured Washiqur Rahman and rushed him to Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) where the physicians declared him dead. Later, police arrested suspected killers, Zikrullah, 20, a student of Hathazari Madrasah in Chittagong, and Ariful Islam, 20, a student of Mirpur Section-1 Darul Ulum Madrasah from the area.
