Five more killed in road crashes

At least five more persons were killed and 40 others critically injured in separate road crashes across the country on Monday.
In Jashore, a minor boy named Sabbir, 5, was killed and 14 others were injured when a picnic bus overturned in Keshabpur upazila of Jashore district in the morning.
Keshabpur Police Station Officer in-Charge (OC) Mohammad Shaheen said, a picnic bus carrying around 50 people overturned and fell in a fish enclosure Shreerampur around 8:30am while they were going to Mongla in Bagerhat from Agardari area of Satkhira,
Among the injured, seven were admitted to Keshabpur Upazila Health Complex, and rest was given first aid.
In Bhola, a minor child named Junayed,5, was killed when a bike hit him at Lalmohon of the district on Monday.
Mir Khairul Kabir, Officere in-Charge (OC) of Lalmohon Police told it to the news media.
In Cumilla, a youth named Tareque, 20, was killed when a Cavardvan rammed him in Choddhugrtam of the district.
Manzurul Haque, In-charge of Miah Bazar Highway outpost police said.
In Chattogram, a security guard named Nizam Uddin,31, was killed in a road accident in Port city on Monday.
Alauddin Talukdar, Sub-Inspector of Chittagong Medical College Hospital outpost police said.
In Jamalpur, a driver of a private car was killed in a road crash when his fell into a river from the Bridge of the district on Sunday night.
