Mushfiqur Rahman Ashik, hatchery owner of Purudia Tek village at Pagla Thana under Gafargaon Upazila in Mymensingh has lost everything only in two nights . Having failed to steal, the miscreants poured poison his two ponds on Monday and Tuesday night causing loss of at bleast Tk 15 lakh .
It is alleged that a group of thief went to steal fish in a pond on 120 acre and the another 100 acre land owned by Ashiqur Rahman Khan Ashik a man of Purudia Tek village under this Upazila. Then the locals guard around these ponds and later being failed to steal the miscreants poured poison into these two ponds. As a result, fishes of these two ponds died and floated in the ponds.
It is also learnt that carp, fry, Salmon, Soal fish,Trout Walking fish, are cultivated in these ponds carefully. In this current year about Tk 15 lakh breeding fish are being cultivated in these ponds. Fishes were fit for selling now but the miscreants poured poison into these ponds. All fishes floated after poison.
Ashik , owner of hatchery said, about Tk 15 lakh fishes are completely finished by miscreants pouring poison in these two ponds. Fishes were ready for selling and he spoke to the buyers to sell fish. But they completely ruined my all hopes to go ahead. They have spoiled my life now.
Shahinuzzaman Khan, OC, Pagla Thana said, an allegation has been filed into this matter. We are trying to arrest the miscreants after investigation.
