Fish worth Tk 4 lakh were poisoned to death by criminals in a pond and an enclosure of a fisher man at Pachduna (Nahabu) village in Sadar upazila under Narsingdi on Tuesday.
Affected fish farmer Jabed Ali of Pachduna village in Narsingdi Sadar upazila alleged that an unknown gang poured poison in the fish enclosure on Tuesday night .
When contacted Md Motakabbir Ahammad, Sadar upazila Nirbahi Officer confirmed the matter to this correspondent.
Officer -In -Charge (OC) Gulam Mostafa of Sadar Modal police station said, he was informed the matter .
