Fishes worth Tk 7 lukh in a pond and an enclosure of a fisher man were poisoned to death by criminals at Khonkut village in Shibpur upazila of Narsingdi s on early Saturday.
Affected fish farmer Habibur Rahman Farazi a fisher man of Khonkut village in Shibpur upazila. Family members alleged an unknown. gang poured poison in the fish enclosure on Saturday night at around 3:30 am.
When contacted Md. Asraful Islam Afsur, Shibpur Upazila Nirbahi Officer confirmed the matter to the New Nation. A case was filed in this regard. Officer- in-Charge (OC) Imam Hossain of Shibpur police station said, he was informed the matter of any allegation is filed the will take necessary action in this regard.
