The Marcel Television First Open Women’s Beach Kabaddi Tournament begins today (Friday) at Laboni point of Cox’s Bazar sea beach.
Deputy Commissioner of Cox’s Bazar M Ali Hossain will inaugurate the two-day meet as the chief guest while Additional Director of Marcel (Marketing) Motiur Rahman will also be present at the function, to be presided over by First Senior Additional Director of the meet’s sponsor Walton Group FM Iqbal Bin Anwar.
Four teams-Azad Sporting Club, Jurain Janata Club, Institute of Kabaddi (Dhaka) and Cox’s Bazar DSA-will compete in the two-day meet organized by Bangladesh Kabaddi Federation.
Top team of the four-team fray will be the champions after straight robin league basis competition.
The champion team will receive prize money of Tk 20,000 ,runners-up team will get Tk 10,000. Besides, all the four participating teams will get appearance money of Tk 10,000 each.
