The First Walton Cup Baseball Competition begins tomorrow at the Paltan Maidan.
Bangladesh Baseball-Softball Association will arrange the two-day long baseball meet with the financial assistance of Walton Group.
Regarding the upcoming baseball competition, a press conference was held at the conference room of Bangabandhu National Stadium on Sunday. Head of Sports & Welfare Division of Walton Group FM Iqbal Bin Anwar Dawn, AGM of Walton Group Mehrab Hossain Asif, General Secretary of Bangladesh Baseball-Softball Association Aminul Islam Liton and Administrator of Bangabandhu National Stadium Md Yahia were present at the conference.
A total of six teams will take part in the baseball competition. They are: Dhaka Commerce College, Mirpur Bangla College, Donia University College, Rajuk Uttara Model College, Narail District Sports Association and Sirajganj District Sports Association.
Each participating team will be given TK two thousand.
