The first return hajj flight of this year reached Shah Jalal International Airport safely on Wednesday night.
Shakil Meraj, managing director (PR) of Bangladesh Biman Airlines, said that the state-run carrier carried some 420 hajj pilgrims and arrived in the airport safely around 8:30 pm.
.He also said Biman Bangladesh Airlines will conduct a total of 169 flights till October 5
to carry the pilgrims to the country back.
Earlier, Biman Bangladesh Airlines carried some 54,873 hajj pilgrims to Saudi Arabia through 187 flights.
