F irst Hajj flight f rom Shah Amanat International Airport will begin from today . The first flight of Bangladesh Biman will carry 419 pilgrims. A total of 19 flights will depart 12 for Jeddah and 7 for Madina airport. Airport Manager Kazi Khairul Kabir told that the immigration and other formalities will begin six hour ahead of flight departure. He said out of 19 dedicated flights, pilgrims will also be sent to Jeddah in regular schedule flights . Biman sources said 10 thosuand pilgrim will fly through Chattogram Airport and in the meantime 9,800 pilgrims already purchased Bima tickets. Hajj Jatri Kaylan Parishad sources said about 1,27,198 pilgrims will perform hajj this season and Bangladesh Bima will carry 63,599 pilgrims and the rest will be carried by Saudi Airlines.
