First hajj flight from Ctg leaves for Jeddah

Hajj flights begins from Chittagong Shah Amanat International Airport yesterday. The first flight of Bangladesh Biman (BG -1015) with 417 hajj pilgrims left Chittagong for Jeddah at 9-15 pm yesyerday.
 District Manager of Bangladesh Biman Md. Alauddin told this correspondent Biman fill operated 16 special hajj flights from Chittagong beside schedule flights on every Tuesday and Friday of the week. Sources said the schedule filghts of Biman will also carry the hajj pilgrims .
 The hajj flights will continue upto September 17 from Chittagong , sources said. According to Hajj Hajj Agencies Association of Bangladesh , Chittagong unit (HAAB) , 11 thousand devouts applied for Hajj visa from Chittagong and its adjoining areas through different hajj agencies. City Mayor AJM Nasir Uddin and the local legislator from Patenga constituency MA Latif gave farewell to the pilgrims at airport followed by views exchanging with pilgrims and Munajat inside the aircraft.
