The first ever “Made in Bangladesh” pressurized tin cans body spray and air freshener” were launched in the market on Thursday with a view to providing locally made lifestyle products to consumers.
Quasem Industries has started manufacturing the body spray and air freshener with the brand name “Wave” as it set up the first ever pressurized tin cans factory in Bangladesh recently, a press release said here Besides, the company also established a filling line for aerosol spray and already went under production, it added.
The new products were formally launched at the “Quasem Industries Conference 2018” held on Thursday at Krishibid Institute of Bangladesh (KIB) in the capital to celebrate the name change of the company.
Recently, Quasem Drycell Ltd, one of the country’s leading battery manufacturers with the brand name sunlight battery has changed its name to Quasem Industries Ltd as it has been expanding its operation in various other products and service sectors.
Quasem Industries Managing Director and CEO Tasvir Ul Islam, Director Sameed Quasem and Chief Operating Officer Mahbubul Alam spoke on the occasion where Chairman Anwarul Islam and Director Dr Reyan Anis were present. Sameed said any products filling in pressurized tin can in the Bangladesh market are coming from abroad as imported items. “So, it’s a new journey of Bangladesh in this sector. As we are graduating from least developed country to developing country, we will like to add locally made lifestyle products to our common people in reasonable prices,” he added.
