First Division Chess League begins on November 23

The Marcel First Division Chess League begins on November 23 at Bangladesh Chess Federation hall-room.
Marking the upcoming chess meet, a press conference was held at the conference room of Bangabandhu National Stadium on Sunday.
Head of Sports and Welfare Department of Walton Group FM Iqbal Bin Anwar Dawn, AGM of Walton Group Mehrab Hossain Asif, Vice-President of Bangladesh Chess Federation (BCF) AKM Shahidullah, General Secretary of BCF Syed Shahabuddin Shamim were present at the conference.
A total of 12 teams will take part in the 11-day long chess competition. They are: Bashir Memorial Chess Club, Access Chess Club, Mir Chess Club, Mohakhali Pradeep Sangha, Agrani Bank Limited Daba Dal, Devdas Biswas Smriti Sangsad, Kasparov Chess Club, Farashganj Sporting Club, Hasan Memorial Chess Club, Sheikh Russel Chess Club, Bangladesh Shishu Academy and Sebula Chess Club.
The competition will come to an end on December 3.
