The Hotel Oscar Echo First Beach Rugby Competition begins tomorrow at the Urmi Point of the Cox’s Bazar Sea Beach.
Bangladesh Rugby Federation will arrange the rugby meet with the assistance of Cox’s Bazar District Sports Association under auspices of Hotel Oscar Echo.
A total of five teams will take part in the two-day long rugby competition. They are: Chittagong District Sports Association (Red), Bangladesh Amateur Rugby Club, Cox’s Bazar District Sports Association, Chittagong District Sports Association (Green) and Cox’s Bazar District team.
Marking the forthcoming rugby meet, a press conference was held at the conference room of Bangabandhu National Stadium on Wednesday.
General Secretary of Bangladesh Rugby Federation (BRF) Mousum Ali, Vice-President of BRF Andullah Al Jahir Shawpon, Secretary of the Tournament Committee Syed Ahmed were present at the conference.
The budget of the five-a-side rugby competition has been estimated at Tk one lakh and fifty thousand.
