First batch of Tigers off to South Africa

The first batch of the Bangladesh cricket team left the country for South Africa on Friday.
Third batch of Bangladesh team will go to South Africa today. A flight carrying eight members of the team took off the Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in Dhaka at 11:15am Bangladesh time.
Four of them are cricketers – Nasum Ahmed, Nazmul Hossain Shanto, Yasir Ali Rabbi and Ebadat Hossain. Besides, selector Habibul Bashar Sumon, team manager Nafis Iqbal, physio Bayezid Islam and team analyst Nasir Ahmed Nasu were with them.
Meanwhile, the second batch of the Bangladesh team were scheduled to leave for South Africa at 11:00pm. The last batch of specialists of Test will leave at 11:15am on Saturday.
Apart from this, another small group joined by BCB media manager Rabeed Imam, doctor Debashish Chowdhury and new fielding coach Shaun McDermott were scheduled to go to South Africa.
The three-match ODI series will take place on March 18, 20 and 23. Besides, the two-match Test series will begin on March 31 and the second and final Test will commence on April 8.
