General Health Care for Rural Students (GHCRS), a non-govt development organization of Chattogram organized a first aid box installation, workshop on Kovid-19 and a training workshop on nutrition on October 14 on the premises of Kadurkhil milon mandir in Boalkhali upazila of the distrct. The founding President of the organization Dr. Ashish Kumar Chowdhury presided over the ceremony.
A total of 35 students from local educational institutions of Kadurkhil Muslim High School, East Kadurkhil High School, Kadurkhil Girls High School and Milon Mandir volunteer team participated in it. Former Associate Professor of USTC Surgery Department, eminent Laparoscopic Surgeon Dr. Ashish Kumar Chowdhury, Chittagong Medical College Hospital’s Orthopedic and Trauma Surgeon Dr. Satyam Sarkar and Dr. Asim Kumar Chowdhury provide thematic training in the workshop. By the direction of GHCRS General Secretary Md. Tajul Islam Raju, at the function as the chief guest Chittagong University Jamal Nazrul Islam Research Center Director Prof. Anjan Kumar chowdhury inaugurated the first aid box installation with 22 types of medical supplies inside the temple.
Kadurkhil Union Parishad Chairman Shafiul Alam Shefu, General Secretary of Kadurkhil Milon Mandir Management Committee Sanjay bikash Chowdhury, Teachers Syed Mohammad emran, Abul kayes, Devi dutta, UP member Mamunur rashid, Mrinal kanti biswas (Titu) and UP Member Mamunur rashid was present at that time.Nitu chowdhury, Saroj chowdhury, Salauddin, Sayem, Shubhankar chowdhury, Biplob chowdhury, Shantunu chowdhury, Ajay chowdhury and others performed the overall duties on the occasion.
