A firefighter has lost his left leg during a rescue operation in Thakurdighi area under Mirsharai Upazila on Sunday .
The victim was identified as Sana Ullah, 35, Foreman of Kumira Fire Service Station.
Chittagong Medical College Hospital (CMCH) Police Outpost sources confirmed the news on Sunday.
Quoting the locals CMCH sources said a truck fell into a ditch in Thakurdighi area. During the rescue operation, the truck fell on Sana Ullah’s left leg severing it from his body on the spot.
