Fire Service and Civil Defence recently hung up banners writing ‘the building is fire-prone’ against 39 buildings in Dhaka, Narayanganj, Savar and Gazipur, said a press release.
The officials of the organization identified those buildings after running operations since April 1. The initiative was taken to warn the people, the organization said.
Director (Operation & Maintenance) of Fire Service and Civil Defence Major A K M Shakil Newaz said, “Our operation will be continued to identify fire-risky buildings.”
