Chittagong Bureau :
A fire incident occurred in the Cardiatic Department of the Chittagong Medical College Hospital yesterday .
The fire originated from the electric short circuit , sources said. The patients in the hospital became panicked following the fire.
The fire immediately doused with the help of the police and employees of the hospital.
Later, fire brigade men rushed to the spot being informed.
On duty police constable of the hospital police camp Md. Jahangir told that the fire broke out in the air conditioner and the flame engulfed the whole ward of the department and the on duty electrician shutdown the power line and brought the fire under control, sources said.
