An incident of fire occurred in one barrack of Dampara CMP police line in Chittagong yesterday afternoon.
Atleast four police members injured in the fire. The injured policemen are SI of Armed Battalion Nurul Alam , police constables Jahid, Nadim and Ikram. Two members have been admitted to Chittagong medical hospital, sources said.
CMPsources said the fire broke out in ground floor of 4-storied Akram Hossain barrack of police line where the store of liveries is located. Maximum uniforms of police forces gutted in the fire, fire brigade sources said. Sources said the fire might be originated from electric short circuit , fire services sources assumed. A probe committee immediate formed investigate the fire incident ,sources said.
