A fire incident occurred in SKD Innovation Factory located within the Karnaphuli Export Processing zone areas early this morning. The fire originated in sector-1 of the factory at about 5.45am today. Five mobile fire extinguishing vehicles rushed to the spot sensing the information and the fire brought under control after 3 hours hectic efforts by the f ire volunteers.
Station officer of KEPZ firs station Md. ShamsulAlam told that after sensing the news of the fire incident , 5 fire vehicles rushed to the spot but the losses so incurred could not be ascertained as yet.
