An incident of fire occurred in a cotton processing factory at Halishahar in city yesterday morning .
The incident occurred at Sagarika area under Halishahar thana caused properties of about Tk.5 lakhs. The fire broke out at early morning in the factory owned by one Asaduzzaman.
Asstt. Deputy Director of Fire Services & Civil Defence, Jasimuddin told that the fire originated at early 4 am and 2 units of fire extinguishing team rushed to the spot being informed by the locals. The fire brought under control after onehour, sources said. No casualties occurred in the fire. Sources said following the electrical fault, the fire originated .
