At least six shops were gutted in a fire at Shantirhat of Harual-chhari village under Fatikchhari upazila of the district on Tuesday.
Fire Service and Civil Defense sources said the fire originated from an electric short-circuit of a shop in the area at around 2.30am and it quickly engulfed the surrounding shops.
