A mobile court stopped works of three under-construction buildings in Hathazari upazila of Chattogram on Tuesday for not taking no-objection certificates (NOC) from Fire Service and Civil Defence.
Led by Upazila Nirbahi Officer Ruhul Amin, the court also instructed the owners of 10 residential buildings in the area to install fire extinguishers and asked a shopping mall “Ershad Plaza” to construct an emergency exit.
