Atleast 12 dwelling houses in Raozan Upazila in north chittagong gutted in devastating fire at midnight of Friday .The fire broke out in south Hingala of ward no.9 of Dabua Union parishad at about 12 midnight on Friday .
The fire incident occurred in Benu Munshir bari of Banik para of the union, a local sources said. Raozan Fire services sources said sensing the news of fire, mobile unit of fire services rushed to the spot and brought the fire under control at about 2 am.
The fire affected families identified as Harimoni Dhar, Rakhal Master, Govindadhar, Bidhan dhar, Shibu Dar, Sunil Dar, Advocate Samir Dar . Fire affected sources said the fire originated from the kitchen oven of Rakhal Master . Properties worth about Tk.30 lakh gutted in the fire, fire services sources said.
