A fire broke out in a shoe factory in Baroipara area of Kaliakair in Gazipur on Saturday evening.
The fire occurred in a tin shed room of FB Footwear factory at 4: 30 pm, said Kabirul Alam, in-charge of Kaliakair Fire Service.
Five units of Fire Service and Civil Defence were working to douse the flame, he added.
No casualty was reported over the matter, he said.
