A fire broke out at Pran RFL Group’s sister concern Pran RFL Electronics Factory at Dangar Kazirchar under Polash upazila in Narsingdi district. The incident took place on Tuesday afternoon.
Five units of Fire Services brought the inferno under control after one and a half hours of efforts.
Shahin Alam, senior station officer of the Fire Service and Civil Defence in Narsingdi office, confirmed the matter.
He said receiving information at about 4:15pm on Tuesday, five fire fighting units–three from Narsingdi Sadar and two from Polash–rushed to the spot. They succeeded to bring the inferno under control after one and a half hours of efforts.
As the building was under contruction, construction materials were damaged. However, it could not be known how the fire had originated.
