Fire-fighting units trying to douse the flame as devastating fire that broke out at Khilkhet kitchen market in city on Wednesday.

A fire broke out at Khilkhet kitchen market in the city on Wednesday. Fire Service and Civil Defence control room operator Farid Uddin said the fire occurred around 4:15 pm but the origin of the fire could not be known yet. Six units of firefighters rushed to the spot and working to douse the flame, he said. No causality was reported.

ECB loans 18.3 bn euros to banks at ultra-cheap rates

AFP, Frankfurt :The European Central Bank said Friday it lent around 18.3 billion euros ($20 billion) to 55 banks in a sixth round of special liquidity measures aimed at reflating the eurozone economy. The ECB unveiled its so-called Targeted Longer Term Refinancing Operations or TLTROs last year, under which it makes cheap cash available to banks for a period of three years on condition they lend it on to the real economy. It has so far conducted six such operations....
