A devastating fire broke out at Zahur Hawkers Market in Chattogram city. The fire broke out at 9:30 pm on Friday, according to Fire Services and Civil Defence.
Newton Das, a fire service officer, said 10 units from three fire service stations were working on the scene.
The fire was not brought under control till 11.30 pm. The cause of the fire could not be known immediately.
