A fire brok out in a five storied residential building in the Banglamotor’s Kathalbagan area in Dhaka on Sunday.
The incident was reported around 12:30pm, said Fire Service and Civil Defence Duty Officer Lima Khanam.
“Two Fire service units rushed to the spot initially and two more units were dispatched later,” she said.
Four firefighting units doused the blaze.
Kalabagan Thana Sub-Inspector Sahab Uddin said that the fire was tamed shortly and there were no casualties.
