A fire has erupted at a 10-storey building in the city’s Bangla Motor around 12:15 pm on Saturday. Smoke was billowing out of the sixth floor of ‘RK Tower’.
Five units of the Fire Service are working to tame the flames.
The Sonargaon Road has been closed to traffic due to the incident.
The authorities are yet to determine the cause of the fire.
