A devastating fire broke out in a readymade garments factory at Khalurghat industrial area in Chittagong on Sunday afternoon.
The fire caused properties of tk.2 lakh, fire services sources said. The fire incident occurred in a factory of Nitex Group originated from electric short circuit.Acting on information, fire services mobile unit rushed to Kalurghat industrial area and doused the inferno after one and half hours.
The fire originated in ground floor of the factory and finished RMG products about Tk.2 lakh gutted in the fire, sources said.
