Fire at Mohakhali market doused

The fire which broke out at a nine-storey building in the capital’s Mohakhali market on Sunday noon was doused after one hour efforts of eight units of Fire Service and Civil Defence.
No casualties were, however, reported.
Ershad Hossain, Duty Officer of Fire Service and Civil Defence Headquarters told the media that the fire broke out on the seventh floor of

the building at Rosulbag of Mohakhali around 2:50 pm.
Around eight firefighting units of the Fire Service and Civil Defence rushed to the spot and doused the blaze at 2:52 pm.
The cause of the fire could not be ascertained immediately, the duty officer added.
