A massive fire that broke out at Jhut Patti in city’s Mirpur-10 area on Saturday was doused after three hours efforts of 15 fire-fighters units.
The fire incident occurred around 1:25pm.
Russel Sikder, Duty Officer of Fire Service and Civil Defence confirmed the matter to the media and said that being informed, 15 fire extinguishing units rushed to the spot and they doused the blaze after struggling for three hours.
However, reasons of the fire and casualties could not known yet, Duty Officer added.
