Fire broke out at a high-rise building at Gulshan-2 in the capital on Saturday night.
Duty Officer Azad of Fire Services Control Room said at about 9:00pm on Saturday that a fire broke out at the second floor of 14-storeyed Unimart Bhaban at Gulshan-2.
Receiving information, four Fire Services units went to the spot. The fire-fighters were working at the spot to bring the fire under control. Azad said the were informed about the fire at about 8:55pm. “Four of our units are working at the spot to douse the fire,” he said.
