A devastating fire broke out at a slum adjacent to a hospital of Agrabad of the port city on Tuesday evening.
Fire fighters said that the fire originated around 7:00pm but the reason behind fire could not be known immediately.
Agrabad Fire Service Telephone Operator Bishantor Barua said that five units of fire fighters rushed the place to douse the fire.
The extent of loss caused by the fire was not assessed immediately.
