Financial insurance agreements were signed between Desh General Insurance Company Ltd and Mercantile Bank Ltd for 84 branches of the bank.
Mohammad Kamrul Islam Chowdhury, Managing Director and CEO of Mercantile Bank Ltd and Mohammodi Khanam, Chief Executive Officer of Desh General Insurance Company Ltd, exchanged the contract at main branch of Mercantile Bank in the capital’s Dilkusha area. Under the financial agreement, Desh General Insurance Company Ltd will bear the risk of Cash in Safe, Cash on Counter and Cash in Transit of 84 branches of Mercantile Bank Ltd till March 31, 2023. Senior officials of both the organizations were also present on the occasion.
